Development of rapid immunochromatographic strip test for the detection of porcine epidemic diarrhoea virus

by:INDUSTRIAL-MAN     2019-09-26
Infectious diarrhea virus of pigs (PEDV)
Acute and severe water diarrhea and dehydration are caused, and the mortality rate of piglets is 50-100.
For the diagnosis of PEDV, a rapid detection kit that is specifically sensitive to PEDV is critical for monitoring this disease in pig farms.
The purpose of this study is to develop the analysis of immune chromatography (ICA)
Strip test for detection of PEDV in stool swab.
The test limit for newly developed diagnostic tests is 104.
The display of the month TCID50/ml, PEDV.
The relative sensitivity and specificity of ICA kits were 95 using stool swab samples.
0% and 98.
Compared with the real number, 6% respectivelytime RT-PCR.
The experimental infection of piglets in the sample was shown with PEDV, and the results showed that the 100 agreement was in real time withtime RT-PCR.
The test strips we have developed will help with rapid diagnosis and can be used for epidemiology monitoring of PEDV infection.
